My new EASE Blog interview series
Today I made the first post in my new regular interviews feature on the EASE Blog! As each issue of the European Science Editing journal turns open access, we will accompany it with interviews from some of the authors featured in the issue.
Through these interviews, we aim to pursue our goals of scientific responsibility, knowledge sharing and communication by shedding more light on the people behind the articles you read in the ESE Journal, provide some further detail and background to the publications, and help spread the messages from the people and their papers to the publishing community and the general public.
With the August issue 41(3) now fully open, I am very pleased to present our first interviewee: Publons co-founder Daniel Johnston.
Daniel tells us more about his work incentivising and recognising the work of peer reviewers, and offers further insight into his article "Peer review incentives: a simple idea to encourage fast and effective peer review."
